I received a letter stating that the law firm attempted to send me a $352.00 check. It stated the check was forwarded to my last

known address. I've been at this address for the last 15 yrs. How did you get this address to send the letter? Sounds like a

bunch of lies to me!!! If I am owed a refund send the check to this address. If not stop wasting my time!!!

I have worked with Care One and Persels & Assoc. for almost 4 years now. I have to say I've never had a problem in my state of MS. I knew up front about their fees and I knew it was a 48 month agreement due to the amount of my debt. My lawyer even let me know that one of my 5 creditors (Capital One Visa) had not even bothered to try to collect their debt within the 3 year time limit so I could have just let that one slide but decided to offer a deal to pay it off. I'm sorry to hear that so many of you seem to have problems! I did get letters and calls in the beginning as you would expect but I just let my creditors know that it was being handled by Care One through Percels & Assoc. and gave them their information. The harassment stopped. I have 2 months left and I'm debt free! Of course you won't have excellent credit when you do this. It's the same as bankruptcy on your credit report.
