Upon receiving a call, stating I would be given a complementary cruise if I took a survey, I took the survey and inquired more details. I am not one to be deceived easily. I knew to ask very specific questions to ensure I understood clearly. Long story short- I wrote down EVERY DETAIL, made several calls (after the initial paying of the "gov tax fee" & "cabin upgrade".) I continued to log who I spoke with and every detail and answers they gave for each of my questions. Not until after the above was paid did I realize I really got myself fooled- even when I was diligent to get all details. And once they realized I was one of those people who would eventually get to the real deal, its almost like they put me on a whole new script. They tried deviating me from the original "package deal" in order to keep me from finding out what was really going on!!! I knew NOTHING about timeshare tours/talks until after I investigated, and asked specifically. I had already asked the first time around if I had to do anything to hold up my end of the deal and the answer was no. THAT WAS A LIE! I feel these people took advantage of me, even someone who was not easily vulnerable. Now I am so angry and want my money back. They said I would have to pay MORE MONEY JUST TO GET THE DETAILS OF MY PACKAGE, SMALL PRINT ETC. I said you must be crazy...

"NO STRINGS ATTACHED" it says on the envelope. This is a HUGE BOILER ROOM operation so BEWARE and for the love of your bank account, do NOT give them ANY INFORMATION! In fact, either take the time to forward the "Boarding Pass" and envelope to your state's attorney general consumer fraud division. If they get enough of those, they'll put an agent on it or contact the Florida State's Attorney General's office.

OR you could send it directly to the Florida Attorney General's office and let THEM get their law enforcement officers on the local "Caribbean Cruise Line" office.

501.204, Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices. The business is registered with the State of Florida and offers free cruises under seller of travel license - ST37425 1) Consumers contact the company after receiving notification that they have won a free cruise. After using high pressure tactics the associate collects credit card information to bill for alleged taxes or upgrades. The dollar amount varies. 2) Unauthorized charges to the consumer’s credit card. 3) Consumers have a difficult time dealing with the company when attempting to cancel. They are either denied a refund or only receive half the refund of the original amount paid even though the cancellation attempt falls within the stated cancellation period. 4) Consumers are forced to sit through Time Share seminars but were not notified that they would be required to attend such a seminar as part of the agreement. 5) Quoted prices for upgrades are not honored in later conversations.
