I used to prefer Carl's Junior to other burger chains, and my husband loves their breakfast sandwiches. I went about once a week during grad school. However, we have not been to Carls since 2013, when we noticed the obscene, suggestive, and degrading commercials they were choosing to air. We no longer have cable, and even though Carl's Jr is opening a new location in our town, we won't be giving them our money. Commercials like this directly contribute to degradation and violence towards women, and send an extremely unhealthy message towards boys and men about who they are supposed to be and what they should expect: women are pieces of meat to be acted upon, and you aren't a man if you believe otherwise. No wonder we have a problem with sex trafficking and sexual abuse in this country. Sorry Carl's-not my kids. Not my family. I can't believe they are allowed to air these commercials on public television. There needs to be some serious consequences for the people responsible for shoving this unwanted filth in the faces of innocent little kids and respectable human beings. If someone did what they depict in commercials in real life in front of an eight year old child, it would be considered lewd conduct and sexual assault, on par with those creeps who flash kids in the park.Why is it different because it's on tv?

I am completely disgusted with they way you think you need to advertise to see your hamburgers. Your commercials are NOT kid friendly, nor are they WOMEN friendly. They are pornographic in nature and I will NEVER patronize your establishment ever again, unless you change your advertising policies. I have 6 grandchildren that LOVE to go out for "fast food". You can be guaranteed I will NOT be bringing them to Carl's Jr, EVER! It is appalling that I have to change the channel in front of them when your advertisements come on the television. they completely understand WHY I do so. As a grandmother/parent I should not have to worry about pornographic commercials for a "family friendly fast food" place. TAKE YOUR DISGUSTING AND INSULTING COMMERCIALS OFF THE AIR IMMEDIATELY!
