today, 8/5/20 at 3;30 pm we ordered food from Carls jr by Post mates. M grandson got fries with his meal.
While eating the fries, he came across ...A STAPLE,,, INSIDE of the fry. Luckily, he did not swallow it.
When my daughter called the location to advise them about it, they got defensive and said maybe Post mates put it in there. My daughter told them wasn't possible, IT WAS INSIDE OF THE FOOD..THE FRY.. The lady kept being negative instead of just apologizing and explaining that it was not known how the staple got inside of the food.
. She did not apologize nor did she offer some way to compensate..even a drink nor did she state she would advise the food source who supplies their groceries.

I tried going on Carls website to advise them but found their system hard to navigate and confusing. It kept directing me to another source. I will try one more time.

Even though we may never know how the staple got into the food, I feel that Carls needs to know that this has happened and that there is a way for their staff to handle a complaint like this, Apologize, offer some compensation, that you will inform the persons necessary to look into the matter, and tell customer some action will be taken to try to see it doesn't happen again
