On May 9, 2016 my husband received a letter from PayPal Credit account had been opened along with a bill of $130.00. We immediately contacted CCB/PPC and they informed us that they will open an investigation and will contact us via letter withing 15 days. My husband credit report does not list this PayPal credit as an active account, however there is an inquiry from CCB/PPC in October 2015. They did an authorized inquiry in October and the account was open in May 2016. Something is very WRONG.
CCB/PPC representative said that they don't report to the credit bureaus.
Because of this authorized CCB/PPC account, my husband had to place a "Fraud Alert" on his credit and file a policy report.
