It looks like this same thing happened to many other people. I booked a room and thought I was booking on the actual hotel website. Unfortunately I booked only several days prior to my stay, so I couldn't cancel. During the checkout process at the hotel I saw the charges from the hotel receipt didn't match what my credit card charges were. I couldn't make contact with CCI*Hotel@Getaroom, as they would put me on hold forever or my call would "accidently" be disconnected when I asked for a supervisor. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and they ruled in the company's favor--I'm appalled! I don't want to pay this, but as the charge is on my credit card, and the company has their money already, it will only reflect on my credit rating. I cannot believe this company gets away with outright STEALING from people!
