Went to Hotels.com website. Saw a good rate and pressed book it. And started putting in my card info.A pop up asked if I wanted to proceed ,but since that has never happened before, I pressed cancel. The pop up disappeared but a new 1 came up stating the reservation had been made. I went to my email and found a statement, from CCI that the reservation was for 187.00 more that it had listed for. I called the number and an Indian sounded lady answered. I explained that I had not booked this reservation especially for that amount. She stated that I had and that there was no refund. I said that I had never confirmed the payment. She said nothing could be done. I told her that I have 3 special needs children and this would leave me with no money. She asked if I wanted to cancel and I said yes. She stated that I still had to pay the full amount. I have since called the hotel and they have never heard of my reservation. They took the money but never made the reservation.
