I made a reservation on line on CCI Hotels for the Bohemian Hotel in Asheville but cancelled it the same day because of excessive charges & to find out they were a third party. CCI Hotels reservation said that there was a no cancellation policy for the Bohemian. We called the Bohemian directly and they said that they had a 72 hour cancellation fee. CCI Hotels chose to cancel 48 hours in order us to be in violation. Scam! Called Citi (our credit card company) to dispute the charges within a couples of days of posting. Citi reponse was "We may be able to assist you if you provide us with a documentation showing that merchant agreed to credit your account." In other words Citi is not going to protect their costumers. I am now looking into small claims court to resolved this problem.
