error advice on change of plan

want to change plan from existing Mega 98 to Mega 158. was advised to call back on 2 Oct to remove Mega 98 plan. on 3 Oct (billing date) to call again to add Mega 158. however yesterday, 2 Oct, I was told not required to remove Mega 98 and do it all today ie remove M98 and add M158. to my surprised today, 3 Oct, was informed that I will be charged for the RM18 passes since I did not remove M98 yesterday. am very disappointed with the flip-flop advice to customer? need badly the M158 plan for my son who is having his final exam this month.
