Disputed charge
Chase refused to dispute a hotel reservation charge because they said I was aware of the cancellation policy in advance.
The reservation was mande before noon and cancelled before 7PM but the policy says the reservation must be cancelled 24 hours before the arrival time! How can one cancel 24 hours in advance for a reservation made for the same day?
Chase was adamant. Refused to let me speak to a supervisor and told me I would receive a letter daying no dispute to this charge can be made.
I run a monthly balance of $4K on two cards but no more. I am closing my accounts since Chase could not handle this $146 complaint.
