Today I went to the ATM to make a withdraw to pay my employee. At this time I received a negative balance message on the atm display screen of over 800k. My actual account balance is funded and I removed my over draft protection over a month prior. After I calmed down from this alarming shocking sticker shock I called BOFA costumer service. After being on hold for a eternity an being phone transfer repeatedly I spoke to a risk closure agent who questioned the validity of my two most recent deposits from SBA small business loan program. The agent did not actually give clarity to my questions about why my account was blocked, only giving rambling excuse about fraudulent SBA loan deposits. the agent also asked had I received unemployment benefits to witch I had not. I was told to call back in 24 thru 48 hours to receive a update and to find out if my account would be closed or remain open. After this phone call I called the SBA to explain what happened with my bank. The SBA also felt this is a strange and unusual experience practice by BOFA especially due to how much damage has been done to minority own small business like mine due to the Covid 19 pandemic.
