On November 11,2016,I entered a Church"s Chicken Restaurant located at 2700 Candler Rd. Decatur. Georgia 30034 store #599. The time was 3:36pm. there was one customer and myself there at the time. There was an employee sweeping the floor behind the food counter when I approach the counter. He put away the broom and asked "How can I help you?". I replied asking him to wash his hands. He told me he was only going to ring up my order and another employee was going to prepare {fix} my order. Another female came up from the back and prepared my order. I left the Restaurant and returned back to my job, which I was on my lunch break. When opening the bag of food, I found 2 peppers were missing, I Immediately call the store number with no one answering the phone. I then returned back to the store with all the food and drink. I asked for the store manager, he came out of the office and I noticed it was the same guy with the broom which had not washed his hands on the first visit. I explained to him about the missing peppers,that I was on my lunch break and having to drive back to this location to have my order redone. Because now, the food is cold. I told him that I also should be compensated for my time and gas for returning back to this Restaurant. He replied by saying okay. Another employee came out of the office to prepare my food. This employee was going to give me another piece of chicken for the compensation of my time. The Manager turned to the employee and told him not to give me any chicken,but to give me a pepper or an apple pie. The employee put back the chicken and the Manager gave me an apple pie without WASHING his hands. I crushed the apple pie and left it on the counter so that myself or anyone else would eat it. I told the Manager that he had not washed his hands and that was unsanitary. I asked him for his named and he replied with the name {Will}. I asked him for his last name and he replied with " You don't need my last name, because I am the Manager. He immediately took a picture of the pie on the counter and took a picture of me through the store front window after I had exited the store. I thought to myself, he need to LEARN how to wash his hands before serving the customer. I will never patronage this location ever again.
