CIMB are making it impossible for me to access my money, if I was wholly reliant on my CIMB account funds I would be homeless and starving. Before moving to Taiwan, I had my account permanently activated to be able to withdraw from ATMs in Taiwan. Once in Taiwan, it was not possible to withdraw funds from any ATM. Called CIMB and was told, OOPS, my account had not been activated for overseas withdrawal but they would activate it from that moment. Two days later, still not possible to withdraw money.. I emailed them and was asked for more information, but on being provided with more information, no action has been taken. Seeing no alternative but to transfer all my money to a friend's account, I attempt the online transfer. only to find that I am unable to authenticate the transfer because my registered mobile number is my Malaysia mobile number ( which obviously does not function in Taiwan). Thinking they can do me the one small favour of changing my registered security number since they have rendered every other option impossible, I helpfully told to go to my nearest CIMB in Malaysia.

This joke of a bank is the worse I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. They are not professional and not efficient
