Raven Assistant Manager

Whoever it may concern,
I come in Circle K all the time. I've been coming in since it was Flash Foods. I've seen this lady named Raven until I'm sick of it. I've made so many complaints. Nothing has ever happened. I will never come back in this store again until she is gone. I came in the other night. She was training a lady. She was being so Rude and mean to this lady. The customers behind me even noticed. Before this she burped in my faced and thought it was hilarious. I've heard her cuss at customers and the employees. I've heard her beg for money. She has called white girls snow bunnies. This is unacceptable. I can't stand going in there. You need to understand people want good customer service. You've have 1 lady in there that is blonde hair and she's #1, but y'all are blinded by someone that is so Rude to everyone.

They threaten to fire me

Look i love my job very much and i haven't ever call out sick cents i stared this job it been 3 months i think it been three months yes i have been late to work a bunch of time and i told my manlager i had anouther job with anouther gas station and she hint then if i didn't quit my job they where going to let me go but i haven't even call out till tonight and she in formed me if i didn't come in to work tonight i would have a job she would have to fire me because her superviser has going down her throat about the some of the employees having over time but i can't help being sick

manager/employee disagreement

Hello, I went into store 1312 the other day and I had already had a long day as it was and I and the manager at the store have a mutual employee that we socialize in passing and or work with. This person has never done anything to me in fact the other numerous times I have been in the store she has given me and other customers great customer service. At any rate She/manager starts telling me out of the blue in her words that the mutual person is, " getting transferred and that she is getting her ass up out of here and that she gots to go!!!!" It was Wednesday or Thursday afternoon. I didn't even know that she was the Manager. I thought it was another lady in fact I didn't even know the title of the other employee until the new manager told me. I also didn't know why she felt the need to tell me this did she think that I was going to start thinking bad about the other employee because she is being transferred? Or because her and the manger have issues? Why would I back a person that bad mouths another employee especially when I have experienced nothing but kindness and professionalism from the employee she was bad mouthing. That's between them!!!!! Nothing to do with me or anyone else at all !!!! This mutual person has never complained or said anything to ME about the manager or any other employee so I would have never guessed or had a clue and personally it is not for me to know anyway I just came in for a few things before I headed home. How does that effect me outside of taking my business elsewhere because of the insecure childish behaviors I've experienced. It is not like the mutual person and myself hang out after hours etc...I don't really know her like that outside of the store. I feel that that was very unethical and I felt offended for the other employee and all of the other BS has forced me to write this email. Even if these two people had any issues no customers should have to know about inside matters. That is a privacy issue and should only be discussed with HR. I find it very dis-tasteful and very disrespectful. This manager has a lot of nerve spreading other employees business especially when they put themselves out there for being the biggest pot head in the world and those are the overheard conversations. The store is not that big. This is the person your company trusts to take thousands of dollars to the bank everyday. Someone who is saying they do drugs daily. Those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones or their authority around when they have demons too. I have also over heard conversations about arranging weed purchases and their regular weed man that comes in the store to bring it to them. I know her way better than the mutual person because she has been there longer but I felt a sense of disrespect for the mutual person who has no clue that she is being stabbed in the back by someone who is supposed to be a leader. I also feel that a team is only as strong as its leader and apparently not if I am angry enough and tired of coming into a different scene when I walk in to give this company my hard earned money. I think that all of your employees should take an ethics course maybe some business courses along with some drug testing. There was another time I came into the store and a lady was cursing out the customers and hitting the vendors in front of other customers in the store. That was truly uncalled for. Then another time two employees were toe to toe arguing in front of other customers late at night when I came in after my shift which was totally crazy and they still work there imagine that. Any place else would have fired them both on the spot. I know I couldn't come to my job of many years and pull any of that crap and not be standing in the unemployment line the next morning. Your company must really be hard up for employees or you really don't know what's going on or your higher ups are sweeping it under the rug due to playing favorites knowing the employees are wrong for their actions. You should really have your people who over see this store take another look at the employees and get more quality people to work for your company. Maybe pay more then your employees would stay. If I come in again and privacy issues are being discussed such as their ex-boyfriends or about their past while ringing customers up, other employees treating other employees like crap, drug deals/conversations and or bad names are being called, fights etc...around other customers I will be reporting this company to the BBB and the local police department. I will go through any other channels I can take it to for this to stop or get this place at least that store shut down or replaced with fresh responsible employees aware of their surroundings. I don't really understand why you need two stores on the same street anywhere. Please also do something about your rewards program because it really doesn't benefit anyone to spend a certain amount of money for a free pop or coffee if the machine even works to scan the rewards card. This company hires very immature employees and these are the people you hire to represent your company which is not a good look for you. I don't know how other employees act in your other stores but this one is horrible. I only come there because its close but I will go else where to get better service. It also seems that there is only one person in the store at all times doing the work of 2-3 people which I don't see how they could ever get anything done and most of the staff is female how dangerous is that for them? Every shift its a woman which is not safe. And this store is not to far from the highway how scary. I guess this company gets the quality of workers it pays for which is not much from what I hear as to why there is always a hiring sign on the door. How the hell do the people get in the door that you do hire? You once again should stop giving your customers a show and remain professional at all times. And get your employees the proper training especially about Ethics.

Racism

I went into purchase an item and there were two employees working in the store. One line was really long and in the other was only two people (I did not get in the line because I thought it was for lottery. I think other people did too which is why the one line was really long), one of which was already being waited on. This is a racism complaint, but I'm going to leave the color of skin out of this and just let it be known. When the one lady (of the same race as the employee) was done the other guy, who was a different race, approached the counter. The employee clearly yelled, "Can I help somebody" all the while this guy is standing there. A few people from other line realized that line had gone down and began to move into that line-The first two people to the line were of the same race as the employee. This employee then turned to the guy who had been standing there all along and said, "Heeeey, didn't you see these two people ahead of you?". This poor guy apologized and backed off, when he was the first one there to begin with. Stop with the hatred already!!! I'm so sick of it!

Racism

It depends on how the lines are taken. When a lane empties, the NEXT person in the other line goes FIRST, not whoever jumps over there. The employee was right to call the NEXT in line.

thermostat control

I don't know who BRIGHT IDEA it was to set the thermostat controls in the south Georgia region on 77 degrees, but they must know nothing about the heat and humidity. I am a 9 year cancer survivor and I can not take the heat . It was 81 degrees in my store today. I have complained to manager and area manager to no avail. I am not the only one complaining. The store on Hwy 80 has a big fan blowing cold air from their cooler. I am thinking of quitting my job and I've will have worked for circle K a year in July and I wanted to go into management for them I have a excellent resume in Management with over 10 years retail/ Please do somethiing!!!
