I bought a pair of Clarks Maryjanes 33591 in Calgary in 2006 ish. The soles were split and started to crumble in 2007. I dd not know what to do and was on the move so packed them. I finally had a moment to investigate in 2001, 2012. It seems the choice of sole material was a problem for many. I called Clarks North America and then email contact. It sounded like does not matter age of the product that Clarks would step up and support the product. I have many many pairs of footwear and I have NEVER had this problem with any of them.
My father's Alzheimers took over and I finally got to sending the photos 2 days ago. I have the emails and the receipt etc. I was put in touch with Clarks Canada. I emailed the photos. The staff emailed back and said a manufacturers defect must occur within 90 days of purchase. Really? when did this start? Is the policy different in US vs UK vs Canada? Clarks are Clarks. Someone please explain. At this point, I will never buy Clarks again. In fact I have just bought a pair of Cloudstepper boots that I will promptly return.Poor job Clarks Canada! CN

My men's Clark's shoes are cracking across the sole after only light wear. The manufacturer says that is a result of natural deterioration over time even without use, a statement which I doubt. They will not stand behind the product. I will certainly never buy Clark's shoes again.

Bought to pairs of Clark shoes. Wore 1 pair 2 days they fell apart. 2nd pair didn't make it 1 block. Theu fell right off my feet. See attached
