On the 29th of June 2018, I purchased a very nice pair of Unstructured shoes from the Newark on Trent branch of Clarks.
I wore them once and the result was an assortment of blisters at the back of my feet where the shoes chafed. I like the shoes and called into the Newark shop on the 17th of July 2018 to ask if there was any way, or products available to soften the leather and make them fit better.
The person who dealt with me, Victoria, did not offer any solutions and was very rude and said that they had not had any complaints about the shoes and said “my feet must be faulty”. She also invited me to leave the premises. I have never been insulted in such a way.


I have been a loyal customer and bought my, my kids and my husband's shoes from Clarks in the last twenty years.

This is not the customer service I expect from Clarks and certainly will not use the shop again and will start buying different make of shoes from now on and will tell all my family and friends about this.
