We signed with the Comsumer Law Associates to have two credit card bill negotiated on by
this firm for payoff. The fee was $345.oo which we sent in. All additional payments would
be due the 26th of each month which would be like a "savings acount" which would be used
as negotiating tool for payoff of the credit card bills. Approximately $2100.00 into our payments,
we found out that only $700.00 was available for the payoff of our bills. By this time, we were
about 6 months past due on our bills and unable to continue these $300.00 payments for no
results. As we were being harassed by the credit card companies, we learned that Consumer
Law had not attempted to negotiate a settlement with either company. It was at this time
that my spouse began negotiating directly with the credit card companies. Upon negotiating
a settlement, it was learned that Consumer Law had defrauded us out of all of our payments
except $700.00. We would to request a full refund of all of our money including the initial
fee of $345.00 due to a breach in our contract.

After three years of paying CLA $589 a month, WE HAVE PAID OFF ONE BILL!! I was never told the CLA attorney must be paid off 100% before any payments were made toward any of our accounts! Our credit is now rock bottom, and one small bill was paid, AFTER WE WERE SUED AND THEN ADDITIONAL MONEY WAS NEEDED TO PAY THIS ONE BALANCE OFF!! We cannot even get a student loan for our daughter now! I am contacting the BBB and the FTC to see how I can have all of my money funded!! This is a SCAM!

This program is a SCAM! we have been paying this group $589 a month for three years and one small bill has been paid, AFTER WE WERE SUED! I could pay all my bills if all of our my money was returned by CLA! I am contacting the BBB and the FTC, because this group is as crooked as Bank of America/Countrywide Home Loans...yes, I have been dealing with all these thieves!
