We were drawn to Cordell & Cordell because they said they backed the fathers in custody trials. They repeatedly charged us for the same things such as review, note to file, answered email etc. When I opted out of deposition they gave me a free consultation on it. Little did I know it was just to talk me into things. They also lied and said 2 hours for deposition and 6 for court so I agreed. Deposition was more like 8 and the trial was 15. They are a scam company. I found several websites with the same type of complaint against Cordell & Cordell. I wish I had seen them first I could have saved myself a lot of money. They have $30,000 of my money and I have nothing. Run don't walk away from them. They need to be stopped. They talk you into things because they know you are vulnerable. $30,000 is twice what I should have had to pay and they did nothing. They'd send emails that would confuse you so you would write back and they'd charge you for asking. They did this several times, I have 18 pages of charges!
