Outrageous Overbilling.
I spent $ 8000 on the firm. I met with them once.

My lawyer would keep me on phone arguing and debating for as long as she could just so she could bill more hours.

She wrote 1 letter that had to be revised a few times. That is all I have to show for my money.

I was billed for "strategy meetings" between lawyers at high fees for both lawyers?
I was charged for billing, organizing, confering, calling, reporting, and all sort of menial made up items representing no work or benefit to my case.

A very simple case. that should not have been more than a couple of hours resulted in a massive case more expensive than my original divorce/

I fired them without them doing one line of work for what I hired them.
