Caution when shopping for a phone at Costco! They offered a sales promotion to receive a $150 Costco gift card with purchase of iPhone7 plus. I submitted all paperwork and phone to rebate company who offered me nothing for my perfectly good Samsung galaxy phone. The reason I purchased a phone from Costco was For the savings of the rebate. I would not have purchased my phone at Costco if they did not have the 150 gift card rebate offer. I believe this was a very deceptive sales promotion. No one informed me of the details that I might not receive a rebate at all. I'm so angry and would have found a different sales deal from another phone provider that would have provided a legitimate promotion offer. Verizon was running a promotion that was less than the 150 gift card offer that enticed me to go to Costco instead of verizon. Please do not get scammed into buying your phone from Costco if the rebate is being offered. They will not provide the rebate as the many other complaints in this site confirm this to be true. I regret not doing more research and feel very taken advantage of by this deceptive sales practice. I am going to also file an official complaint at Costco and with the better business bureau. I advise anyone else who has experienced the same false rebate practice to do the same.
