I purchased 3 i phone 6 cell phones at the Verizon kiosk in Costco. With the verizon service and the phones (family plan) I got a phone for my wife, son and myself. We were promised $200 cash rebate cards each phone from Costco for a total of $600.
I purchased the phones July 20th 2015 and I promptly filled out and sent proper paperwork for the phones to the rebate center. I received a letter from Stuart Lee Rebates on Oct. 23rd 2015 15 weeks after the purchase. In the envelope was a letter telling me enclosed was a Costco Cash Card for $200. Was I surprised! where is the other two $200 cash cards? I am now getting the run around from everyone. I called Verizon wireless first and told them what happened. They referred me to my Costco where I purchased the phones. I talked to them and they referred me back to Verizon. I then sent a query at Stuart Lee Rebates online.
I filled out the questions with the information I had (I have all of the papers and contracts but some of the questions can't be answered because the answers are no where in the paperwork). Now they say they may get back to me in a week or so to help me answer the questions they ask for. What? this is a smelly way to do business. I finally called the kiosk (in the Costco I bought the phones from) and they promised to call me back when they are not so busy. I am waiting. Now I am asking myself why I am working so hard to get what has been promised to me to get my business. I am really thinking of taking this to small claims court because it seems to be a scam or at the very least a breach of contract.
