Paid Aed. 25,000/- as membership fees to country club. Now it is closed. Need to get the reimbursement.

Even we have been conned by country club. We had just gone to collect the vouchers and in one go they swiped our card with 25000dhs in the year 2014 and till date we have not used a single vacation and in addition we have paid our 6 years maintenance. It is our hard earn money and what was promised was never given. When we asked for refund they asked us to swipe with the property in some village. Please help us in getting our hard earn money back from CCD.

I am the victim of Country Club, my story is not different than any other victim even from Foha or Dubai. I am completely trapped and they are delaying the process. I want refund, I have not used any other facilities, also they were unable to book my holidays. Details will be shared in other posts. I just want local authorities to intervene and take up this matter.

I had a similar experience with Country Club. Completely trapped by them. I want to cancel my membership, since 5 years neither they were able to provide me holidays nor agreed to refund the money. With a great difficulty and after exchanging many emails a country club official Mr. XXX fixed a meeting at Abudhabi office. When I reached at there office, I found it’s closed or might be shifted. I callled him over phone, he said that he is in Dubai and this office has some issues. Infect they are delaying and getting the time.
I just need to take this matter up to local authorities to intervene and investigate.

Country club just prove to be the no.1 scammers in dubai.


We are extremely unhappy and afraid of country club, especially one of their previous manager Mr. Akther. (Who was sitting under the office in Al-Nahda).


We started the membership in last December 2016, and paid an amount of 31,500 aed. The second day itself we ask them about how to back up from service. After few days things got a little bit tight on our end and we request to discontinue the service. We went to al nahda office in person and move the request directly to Mr. Akter. As per the conversation he suggest us to continue the service for 6 months and he can proceed the cancellation easily. As per his direction, after 6 months on august last we went again in the office personally and proceed the request verbally. (Anyhow we had the full conversation record in our phone). And he promise also within 3 months the procedure will finish and we will get back the full refund as if we dont use any of the services.


After 3 months, we didn't get any follow ups or updates so we call Mr.Akter and we got the answer that he is in vacation. As per his direction we contact with Mr. Fahim, Mr. Predeep And Mr. Rauf for the same. Even Mr. Rauf promise us the same thing.


After his re-joining he is not properly responding to our calls or messages. If we are calling from any unknown number then only he is answering the call. As per the conversation he gave us December-15th as deadline. And till yesterday he is not answering the calls. If we call him from an unknown number he is accepting the call.


The most suspected action from his side is he did not inform us that he is not working with country club hotels anymore! That we come to know only when we call their head office. We are completely afraid and suspected from his action throughout these incidents and we want to complaint officially. We have all the call records, conversation records and message details with us what we mentioned above.


The twist happen when we contacted with the head office.
They are the most careless and unofficial dealing i saw ever in my life. They will not answer your calls, no e mail reply, dealings are that much pathetic that you will ashamed to talk with them.


As conclusion we made the assumption that they are the NO.1 scammers as available in UAE.

With reference to the above subject, we want to cancel our membership and need to get our hard earned money back. Please help us.

I had a similar experience as Rasheed. Paid advance of AED 17,000 for the Varna Bhumi project in Dec 2014. They promised to refund the money on my non approval of the plot after viewing. I have chasing them since April 2015. Somebody, please HELP!!

Country club cheating techniques- Be aware

Country club in Dubai is one of the fraud and cheating company. If you are called by them, you will be trapped. My wife has filled a raffle coupon in a super market. She got a call from country club that you are the winner, you have got the chance for 1 week free stay with your family. To collect the gift voucher you have to come along with the family for one hour seminar. We all have gone and attended the seminar in Dubai country club. They were showing some real estate details which named Vajra Bhumi in Tamil Nadu India which is closer to our native place. I have selected one of the land and paid the advance amount of Aed.15000/- (around 5000 dollar) by the credit card. I was promised to get the receipt and voucher by email on next day, but no response at all. I was keep sending the email to them. Finally they sent the receipt and membership card. But the location map is vanished. I have told them that I am going to approach consumer court. Finally they sent wrong location which is nothing to do with the agreed one. Please be aware of this club currently they are targeting Lulu and main super market customers.
