I've been leasing with England 2 years. I hold multiple degrees from a variety of different Universities but couldn't get a job due to my age. Therefore please read carefully. In any business a person needs to be smart, they need a wide variety of consults. Yes there are issues with England, however they give non-working individuals a chance to start over. If you lease a truck, you should be aware of the mileage and knowledge that such a truck has had trainees learn on it will likely need repairs. I leased a new truck so I wouldn't have the grief. And I always do preventative maintainance and take out additional income to pay for potential repairs. I learned the hard way, that one needs to really analyze pay statements and make the calls necessary to change mistakes. It is a school and we are lucky to get paid anything when we are learning. Universities sure don't pay people to learn. I learned you need to drive with a partner to make any money. AND always check the repairs once they have been made----mechanic shops these days just have no honor especially where women are concerned. I was fortunate and had an engineer for a father who taught me to take care of my equipment. Therefore, when going independant, you can make money but you have to spend it too. Use this time as a learning tool and go forward in your career beyond England. Be thankful for the little things and for what you learn. Yes I've lost money with England, but I've made it too, and I'm not homeless anymore.

i leased a truck from crengland now there saying i left a loaded truck i leasedc a truck from them. n it kept breaking down now i am accussed leaveing a loaded truck when it was in the shop for 13day's i boke down in organ salem then i broke down again in denver colorado so u know that i lost everything. i have my lease agreement 30 day warranty n 9 month demo. talking about getting ripped i did. not just ownin them 4,ooo dollars but now they r saying i left a loaded truck if anybody knows about trucking a load can not sit that long. n yes my dm was notifyed everyday about the truck so if anyone can clear this matter up please let me know the dates r from 1/26/13 to 2/8/13 rest of the time i was staying at railroad tracks or in the shelter.

i told them in albuquerque n.m. that i was quiting them because my truck was in the shop. at roberts truck center be there from 1/26/13 to 2/7/13 now they r saying thati left a load truck. so how can they say they did not know where the truck was n it was loaded as many day's i stayed at the motel n i called my dm they can not say it was loaded. they talk about falseifying documents they did. i have a business card from roberts truck center n all the motel dates n bill's the truck had major problems high side turbo was out n all the fuel injectors no how can u have a loaded trailer n being broke down that long they pulled the load from me. so there was no load at that time. 13day's so there is no load to set that long. it was pulled from me on day 2 at the shop. so they can not say this. my dm was notiyfied every day of what was going on who reads all the reports about the truck when u complain about it they knew where the truck was i even called my grilfriend to pay for a bus ticket home. i even went to a shelter n stayed there over nite it was an old jail house now that was bad. because u had to watch ur things.what i brung home the rest was stolen. i came home with just my clothes. lost my pillows,blankets,sheets.

They offer free transportation and motel to get...free training and/or commercial driver type A licenses...or a "curse refreshment" for people with existent CDL type A from any state...
The reality is far from true...
1) They have a training center at Burns harbor, Indiana..where they take the people on Sundays nights after 20 to 25 hours of greyhound traveling from other states as far as NC, VA, NY etc..they made them fill applications and the next morning they make them pay a non refundable $50 fee..then they divide them in the 2 groups of people with and without commercial driver licenses...cdl
2) For the people with NO cdl's they make them sign a $3000 LOAN plus interests to get their licenses..after having publish it is for free..
3) For the people WITH cdls..they offer a "brain wash" class training in which they promise them thousands of dollars IF they LEASE a truck and become COMPANY DRIVERS .. YOU CAN READ ABOUT THE HUNDREDS OF VICTIMS OF THIS SCAM LEASES ON the internet if you google "cr england lease complaints..." and/or web sites like "pissed customer.com" ..but so far nothing has been done about it by any authority..

4) Basically, they make people who lease pay for repairs and/or maintenance for their used lease trucks deducting these expenses from the 0.90 cents per mile they offer to leasers of trucks..There are people in bankruptcy loosing their assets after CR england apply the small letter paragraphs in their contract leases which only favors the company not the drivers...

5) if the driver chooses to be a "company driver" not leasing..they just fire such individuals..not after being worked for cr england FOR 3 to 6 months at the pay rate of $20 PER DAY if the driver is waiting to be pick up at a motel called "Home town lodge" located in Hamond IN tel 219-5540000. If the diver is being pick up for 20 hours of day work is being paid $60... CR england force people to sign a paper to acknowledge they can only be OFF DUTY..not working or sleeping in the truck... 4 hours in a 24 hours period called "day log". This means that workers for cr england are being ripped off because in 24 hours period they can only have 4 hours of free personal time--not in the truck...for $60 day rate..that is way below the minimum legal salary in any state in the US.

6) the crash training or refreshment is being promised for 10 days in the web site is cut to only 2 days in class and 1 day being evaluated in a truck by a trainer...basically the trainer writes if the person is able or not to move the truck a few blocks...then your are called by the training coordinator mentioned before Ms Aimme Monik and is being told by her... "congratulations...you are officially hired and graduated..." and sent to wait for your truck at the motel...
This means that people with NO experience is placed to drive a 80 TON truck in the highway..offering a risk to the rest of people and to themselves... new drivers for cr england don't know that it is their cdl in risk of being penalized for any not trained offense by the police..something like not stopping at the weight station.. non experienced drivers don't know abut it after they have the violation ticket..

Something must be done or investigated...hundreds of people like me victims of this fraud..hundreds of drivers being under pay...cheap or free labor for a company only interested in the profit coming from their leased trucks to innocent people... people in the highway in risk of being hit by not well trained drivers in a cr england huge truck.. a false negative offer done online wth the only purpose of fraudulent income...

Their website clearly states that the cost is at least $1995, not free.
