The yearly fee is $75. and the interest rate is 30%. You cannot cancel your card unless you pay off the balance. Collection calls started 8 days after I mailed in a $100 on a $560.00 balance. I sent my money to California. This is where the money can be sent but takes weeks to post if it posts because it has to go from California to Puerto Rico. I got six collection calls in one day on my account that was past due 8 days. This same number has appeared every day for days without a message. They hand up.I was frustrated and hung up on the collection clerk and she called me back at work without my permission. I told her on the phone do not ever call me at work. She called me at work again. This time I sent $100 on 10/18 and the collection calls continued. Nobody read me the mini miranda until we were well into the conversation on the third call. It was not a complete mini miranda. She asked me at least 8 other personal questions. The caller refused to answer questions about the account. The impression I got was that company prefers you pay $9.00 over the phone to make your monthly payments. The employees do not act at all similar to any credit cards I have had in the last 50 yrs. Why do we let these other countries come into the USA and use us? Why does our government allow abuse to the American people. Rest assured after I report them to the white house, better business bureau, complain board.com and anywhere else I can complain sooner or later someone needs to investigate the practices of this company.
