I have never been told at Mc Donald's, Wendy's or Freddie's that I could not up-grade or add an item to the product I was ordering. I was trying to order a 2 scoop waffle cone with carmel topping. I was told they could serve the carmel on the side but they could not add the toppings to my waffle cone. This is just plain stupid. Since when it is acceptable to tell a paying customer that you cannot add an item to a cone. I did not want the item for free. I was not looking to do anything that would cause any additional work, since the carmel topping sits next to the waffle cones. I have been going to Calvers for may years, and it is difficult to say this, but after this and some other service issue with your company, I have come to the decision that I will never ever again visit your locations. I DO NOT want anything for free from your organization. The company I work for prides itself in CUSTOMER SATISFACTION, NOT Customer Service. Maybe you should review your policy's and understand that I might be one person at this time but that could change. I know how difficult it is to find any kind of help these days. I do not support hiring ever dog and cat that comes along just to keep the doors open, especially when they tend to cause customers not to come back to enjoy the wonderful food selections your company offers.

no service
when Culvers first opened all of the registers were open. Now only one is open. I went there yesterday, there were culvers employees everywhere. The only person taking orders took almost half hour taking one mans order, yes one person. None of the massive amount of employees walking around trying to look busy offered to take my order. I have estimate the time it took to take the mans order because I left after a half hour.
New management is needed if this store is going to survive.

malt was unacceptable
First we were avid fans of Culver's. We are a retired couple and we eat every meal out. After our third bad experience in Winona, MN we just gave up on going to Culver's anywhere - even when we travel. On Sat, June 7, 2014 our daughter was visiting and wanted to go to Culver's for Fish. She ordered a Fish Dinner and it was okay. My husband ordered a butter burger basket with the works minus onion and cole slaw. The clerk told him nothing comes on the burgers. He said I want mustard, ketchup and pickle then and he got ketchup and pickle. Had to get mustard and put it on himself. I ordered a small chocolate MALT. Our food came and the top of the malt was pure liquid. Surely you know not to make anything with ice cream ahead when food has been ordered. People don't order ice cream treats to get liquid yuk!!! Then I picked it up and saw that a portion of the chocolate syrup was all under the rim of the cup and the cup had been sat down in the spilled chocolate syrup which then DRIPPED down my CLOTHES. NOT ACCEPTABLE. Finally I looked at the cup and from 1/2 way down to the bottom it was just vanilla ice cream - hadn't even been mixed. I stirred it and took a sip only to find that it had NO MALT flavor at all. So all I had was a disgusting unmixed 1/2 melted chocolate milk and 1/2 vanilla ice cream also runny. I threw it away. I had no faith in requesting another with the same staff. Didn't need 2 disappointments in one sitting. Needless to say, I have made my LAST VISIT to a Culver's Restaurant and Craig I would suggest you get the Winona Culvers straightened out before you lose more customers.
