I had a stroke in February 2016, due to my health was I forced to retire at the age of 61. The Department of Labour agreed that I would be qualifying for UIF, so when the necessary document was handed in, I was tould that I do not qualify due to previous claims, however I felt this very unfair, I have been contributing to the fund for in excess of 30 years, I was advised that I could appeal and the necessary documentation was handed to the Labour office in Bethlehem. I have not heard anything from them
