Service Center not ready to provide service under warranty

Hi, I have a dell venue 8 tablet that i have purchased online on 6th November 2014. The warranty period is 1 year from the date of purchase. The tab is now under repair and the service center people say according to their system the tablet is out of warranty and they cant provide service under warranty.
