Complaint involves the septic tank service industry in general and specifically Delta Plumbing, Inc. of Stockbridge, GA. I scheduled a septic tank drainage service with Delta Plumbing on February 16, 2015 for the advertised price of $150.00. They arrived on February 17, inspected the septic problem and advised it would cost $4,000.00 to repair the system. I paid them in full on February 19, 2015. By March 15, 2015 the septic system was flowing waste water into the yard the same as prior to the repairs. I called to report the problem on April 3, 2015. After 3 missed appointments, Delta sent a representative on April 7, 2015 to inspect the problem. After 5 minutes he advised that it would cost between $8,000 - $20,000 to repair the drain field. He called his supervisor and his supervisor advised that Delta would not do anything unless I contracted them for $8,000 - $20,000 and that they would only credit $750 of the previous invoice towards any repairs. I refused to pay for something that was supposed to be repaired in February.
