telling me i owe them money
I had the same Walter Jones call me, it is a scam I am not sure how he got my info. SS number, work phone number as I have never applied for loan on internet. I did however apply for a credit card online. He has as well as several other with India accents called me non-stop. Even using profanity at my co-workers. Please do not send them any money. I called local police department and this Walter Jones person even called while the officer was there, he then used profanity at him. It is very scary knowing someone has your personal information, and I'm sure there are lots of people who fell victim to this scam. All I can hope and pray is that the FBI finds them and arrests them. Yes they are using using Magic Jacks.

telling me i owe them money
These people really pissed me off, calling my wifes work (she is a teacher), 10-20 times a day, I called the FBI, reported them on ic3.gov, and my wife even had the local police come to the school. Basically they are from India. It sounded like a T-Mobile number so the FBI had me call them, T-Mobile said its not theirs, but said it was Ymax communications corp. I looked into it and they are Magic Jack. I currently have the FBI trying to have the Magic Jack number disconnected. If anyone calls from another number again, I will have that one disconnected to.

everyone you must file a report on this website
www.ic3.gov/default.aspx
they are a bunch of scammers from india. you can call your local FBI agent as well you can find the one in your state at this address
http://www.fbi.gov/contact-us/field
what happens is they got your information because you or someone you know used your information to apply for some sort of payday loan online or cash advance. there is a service for all online quick loan agencies that lets all of the legitimate companies know if you took out multiple loans, because they have an agreement between all of them to make sure no more than two are taken out at one time. Once you report on the goverment site ic3.gov and the $ amount gets high enough the FBI will find them and will put them in jail. SO no matter what report them. If you dont they just escalate the calls, they call your work, your boss, say cops are coming to arrest you at work if you dont pay, they will tell your boss that he/she doesnt want everyone else to see you arrested in front of everyone, they will threaten you, say they will block your SS#, etc, etc. FBI says department of financial of investigation does not exist, period...
