My contract expired in November 2014 at Cre8work where i was working as a Sales Manager,they gave me my UI19 and I went to Germiston Labour department on the 01st December 2014 to make my application. I was told that i should come and sign on the 19th January 2015.When i went to the Labour Department on the 19th of January I was then told that my UIF cannot be paid as i need to provide the UI19 from my other previous company TAS Appointments which i worked for between 2009 and 2011. I explained to the Officer who was a lady that TAS Appointments closed down in 2012 and I do not have the contact details of the then owner of the company Mrs.Colleen Ramaphakela.She said on their system its active which i find very weird.I tried in vain to convince her to let me speak to her manager and she could not hear none of it.I then went to Braamfontein at Moloko Group of companies looking for Mr.Fullton Ramaphakela who is the husband of Colleen Ramaphakela with a hope that he could provide me with a light or at least the number of his wife but i could not get him,left the message with his PA.I have sent him and his PA(Astrid)numerous emails with no response.The last resort now i think is to send an email to Mildred Oliphant(Labour Minister) as this is very frustrating,how is ti my fault that TAS Appointments closed down its offices in 3 Pybus Road Sandton?
