I have been sent from pillar to post by the Randburg office my initial submission was on the 2nd of June ,i was told to come back in July and so I did I arrived there i was told the systems are down,i returned home ,I went back the following week i was told to wait 10 days from thereon. that same afternoon I received sms saying my submssion was unsuccessful . i then went back to their office i was then advised to get my previous employer to resend ui19, I asked HR for one and i submitted to the Randburg office i was told to go home and just wait 2 weeks later i went back to check the security told me its after 12pm the supervisor doesn't want to see anyone,I was sent back home. mind you i am unemployed,i spent money going there . i called their landline which is forever on a busy tone i then sent an email which a Robert Magadani (supervisor ) only replied 3days later after i had been sending nonstop email to get his attention. its so upsetting to be treated like youre somekind of a burden yet, I have been paying my UIF since i started working i have been sending emails to no response.

Good day,i went to the department of labour since the begining of may 2015,each time i get there they would make me stand on a long que until 2pm they send me home and say i must come back tomorrow as they are now closing.

Finally on the 12th may i went there,while i was on the long que i told the security guards that i am in labour(about to give birth) i was told that i am not special i must just wait on the que or send someone else to apply for my maternity benefits,knowing that there is no one,i waited on the que and i was finally assisted at 13:50pm,the lady who helped me was pauline and she even asked me why do i keep coming back.

I went home and at 17:00 same day i was admitted in hospital where my baby was born.

TILL TODAY I HAVE NOT RECIEVED ANY PAYMENT!MY BABY IS TWO MONTHS OLD ,I HAVE NO OTHER INCOME ,I WAS TOLD TO CLAIM MY UIF BENEFITS WHICH I CONTRIBUTE FROM MY MONTHLY SALARY BUT THERE IS NO PAYMENT!

I phoned the pretoria call center they told me to ask my HR to send the ui19 which i did,i then phoned the ranburg offices they said i must come back,i went there,the supervisor told me to wait 2 to 3 weeks il recieve payment,which i am still waiting.

WHAT HAS THIS COUNTRY COME TO?HOW CAN THEY MAKE A FULL TERM PREGNANT WOMAN WHO IS IN LABOUR WAIT A QUE STANDING ON HER FEET AFTER SHE HAS BEEN SENT BACK 5 TIMES BEFORE?I COULD HAVE APPLIED EARLIER BUT THEY SAY U MUST APPLY ON THE DAY THAT UR LEAVE COMMENCES!

ON TOP OF EVERYTHING NOW I AM STRUGGLING WITH A NEW BORN BABY AS IF I NEVER PAYED UIF CONTRIBUTIONS?
