Claim refused

I have applied for maternity benefits since May even today my application has not been approved, I make follow ups almost everyday and I always get different stories from consultants. When I try to send an email I will be getting a response after 2 months, I have been told the I need to submit the birth certificate because the one the have was no clear but still after submitting the birth certificate nothing has been done I even went to the office just to submit the birth certificate hoping that maybe it's gonna be different but still the document not uploaded and my claim still hanging, I really need assistance on this I don't know how to go about this matter because emails are inserted, calls give me different stories everytime my I'd number is 8008030668086.

U filing

I have not received UIF payment for January 2016 till today. If U filing confirmed that payment was done I didn't receive any payment. Whose bank account did pay into the money. I have sent several emails regarding this with no response from you. Its frustrating and I'm not happy at all.

I had to borrow money for the time being to help me financially.  I now have to pay back the loan I still have a hole in my pocket that was supposed to be filled with this money!

No service

I submitted my UIF Application on 19 August 2015 and was sent an sms on same day to say "you are registered"!! Given a date to sign for payment, 1 October 2015. After three visits, 2 on which I walked out after 1.5hrs because the queue has not moved!!! and once sitting for 2 hours before eventually seeing someone in October "to sign" just to be told, "no there is a problem because some employer 10 years ago did not sign you off"!! Really? But they took my UIF deductions for the past 10 years without a problem!!! Told that Pretoria has to fix first so I must phone in 10 days time. I phoned 14 days later and spoke to Jacob at Bronkhorstspruit Dept of Labour who told me to phone him. No, they still cannot help me because Pretoria hasn't fixed the problem. I must speak to Mana who processed my application and so put through to him but he does not answer his phone. Then I sent him 2 emails in a period of 2 weeks literally begging him to assist with some service. I mean what is the problem? I am a law abiding, taxpaying citizen of this country who had UIF deducted from my salary year after year (whether I like it or not). All my details are verified but no, I cannot even get a payment date!!!

I walked out this morning after arriving at 7.10am standing in a queue 14 people long already waiting for them to "supposedly start work at 7.30am". then stand in another queue to sign in "for security" and sit down just to be told 10 minutes later that they are "offline"!!! And only people who have signed for payments before can be helped unless you want to sit there and wait until they come online. How long will one wait? Who knows - at Randburg they were offline for 4 weeks in August - the whole month!!! So yes, I sat for 45minutes and then left and when I left, the seating was full (at least 50 people plus) all waiting in hope and vain (I am sure). I feel for the people who are desperate for maternity UIF and ordinary UIF (like me) payments who spend hard to come by money on transport for nothing, time and time and time again!!! This is just not acceptable!!

If the ANC government can ensure that the finance department who collect our taxes, functions "par excellance"!! Then surely they can ensure that a department which is supposed to service workers in this country and who the ANC claims they care about, get the service they deserve??? What is going on? Minister Mildred Oliphant your department is dysfunctional and what are you going to do about it??? Oh, I forgot she is the lady who is so arrogant, she does not even attend parliamentary committee meetings!!!!

So yes, on HelloPeter, lots of complaints similar to this website and addressed to a entity who "does not respond"!!! So we are complaining to ourselves!!!
