My UIF documents was send to the assessor on 29/10/2015 and I am still waiting for feedback as it is exactly 4 months today. I have contributed 38 years to this fund and think I am also a citizen of South Africa who have the right to claim unemployment benefits.

I have handed my UIF claim in on the 7/10/2015 at the Klerksdorp branch. On the 16/10/2015 I was notified by SMS that my claim has been received and progress on the claim will be communicated within 35 days.
This was the last time I have heard from them.

Can somebody please assist me in this matter as I have send numerous e-mails to them,called the client call centre on 0800843843 and sit for nearly an hour listening to music they play without anybody answering the phone.
