I am writing to you at a point of desperation. I applied for Uif on the 7th of March following my retrenchment at work. All documentation was submitted at the labour offices in Marlboro near Alexandra . I was given a date to come back and sign on the 13th of April 2016. I then received an SMS stating all documents have been received by the department. After a few days, I got another SMS stating that my application was declined. When I went back to find out why this happened, I was turned back an told everything was alright I just have to come back on my given date. So I did. But the officer there said my application was on process an given another date. When I asked questions he just frowned an told me to come back on the 26 of may and that there was nothing he can do for me.

Please the frustration is killing me... I have a child and responsibilities. Is Uif not a measure to cover thru this difficult times? And ease the pressure while looking for employment?

I am not asking for something I have not put in. Why be treated like an outcast when in need.

Please advise the steps I need to take, please kindly I request..
