We just closed on a house built by Diamond R in Texas. After submitting ~14 pages of issues during our walk we are wondering why we even chose this company and put our trust in them. All items reflect poor project management by the builder, from numerous shades of paint, unfinished painted surfaces, and the list goes on and on. The builder is blaming everyone but himself. This company is owned by Hidalgo Industrial Services. He has stated they are the major part of the problem due their reluctance of approving checks to pay sub-contractors in a timely manner. And guess what......we recieved an intent to file lean from one of the material suppliers. The builder stated that he can "fix" everything in two weeks. The items listed will take months to fix with us living in it. So many red flags to mention but just wanted to say.....BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!
