I am shocked that I too received notification via paypal on a purchase I in no way authorized or made by DIGITAL RIVER representing AVAST. I dont even use AVAST. I never authorized anybody to charge me much less debit my account. I have emailed the bank, paypal and sent an email to Digital River. I do not even have the funds in the account whatsoever t pay this $50 charge.. how stressful this truly is for me. now I face overdraft charges ! This is not fair t me. I am already struggling and below poverty level income as it is , two children and on food stamps.. I am so freaked out by this unauthorized charge! please help. They should never be allowed to conduct business in such a criminal way. Given the fact that they continue to conduct themselves like they have as I have read many complaints. I think it's way past time that they need to be fined punitive damages!~

I have not subscribed nor done any online transaction for AVAST so-called anti-virus. How did it happen could you please let me know. It must be some mistake as I do not have any personal computing devices as well. In my account, it is showing Dhs 149.00 been withdrawn by DRI*AVAST.

A payment of £24.99 was taken from my account on 8th Feb 2017 this payment was not authorised by me or anyone in our company, the software was part of a one year package when we purchased our new laptop in 2016, when the renewal email came through we declined to renew, in fact a number of renewal reminders were sent to us and we instructed you on every occasion that we did not wish to renew and cancelled auto renewal three times. As I see from the above complaint email I am not alone in this fraudulent act. Refund my payment by return or I will pursue this matter further.
The reason for the late detection of this payment is I have just been passed the account for the purpose of the quarterly VAT returns.
