Double charging via debit order
In August 2009 I changed my account from a normal decoder to a duel view decoder. My installer phoned Multi choice to install the new decoder and to cancel the other one. It is now 2016 and we realized that from 2009 till now they have deducted money for 2 decoders. Luckily I have the dates and the cellphone number that was used, in place, so that they can listen to the recording that was made at that time. What I don't understand is that they agree to refund me but I have to send them bank statements of all the debit orders that went off on my bank account since 2009. Don't they have that on record???? The statements will cost me R4 000 at my bank. Why should I pay so much money for a mistake they made.
I have been trying to sort this out for months now and it feels like I am getting no where.
