Low voltage with two successive orders of Duracell 312 12 pack from Amazon.com. The vendor appears to be "The Duracell Store". The last two orders from this vendor yielded batteries in the range of 1.188V. According to the package it should be 1.45V. When these batteries are inserted in the Oticon hearing aids, the hearing aid app shows low voltage, and the hearing aid either works a short time or not at all with these batteries that have just arrived in the mail from Amazon.com. I spoke to a representative from Duracell, and she recommended buying batteries from local vendors and NOT from Amazon.com. If these are genuine Duracell batteries, Made in Germany, then they have been subjected to temperatures that have degraded the batteries.

I have experienced numerous leaking Duracell batteries well before their expiration dates. I have 4 brand new 20 packs of AAA batteries with a best by date of DEC 2023 and all the cells are leaking. These were stored in our basement, which is climate controlled, finished off, and dry. I have experienced leaking in several devices including flashlights, remote controls and computer mice. I will NEVER purchase Duracell batteries ever again. Duracell was once the premier brand that you could count on. The quality and dependability are worse than old store brand batteries from the 80's. What a shame that quality can destroy a brand. I regret spending my money on these batteries not to mention the damage they have caused in my devices. Avoid Duracell batteries and choose Energizer or alternatives.

We have been buying your new OptimumExtra Life, Extra Power for about 10 months. We’ve been happy with them until this one package bought about a month ago. All batteries in it were good except this one! It’s leaking!

They Are New Batteries Took Out Of Package And They Were All Corroded Duracell Optimum

I just bought the Charger On August 31st As Of September 6 My Charger Stopped Working It was Charging Amy Phone Fine Then ain’t Just stopped So i changed Ports and different outlets but still isn’t working This Charger Was 16.00 at Dollar General

I have had several AA batteries leaking and hurting equipment. All have had the good before 2024 date.
Last time appox. 5 years ago I had the same kind of issue and P&G stood be kind them and replaced all of them .

I will try the new group and see what they say.

Duracell batteries leaked and damaged my DVD player's remote control. (We've had multiple leaks lately from Duracell, all from Costco.)

The spring on the anode side of the control is damaged, but since it's still working (for now), Duracell won't do anything about it ... they simply offered a discount on future purchases, and I assured them I'd never buy another Duracell battery.
