Furniture Leasing

So a year ago I purchased a basic queen size bedroom set. It was used by at least 2 months not brand new. When the first customer returned the product Easyhome didn't refund them some of the $700.00 deposit they first put down they allowed them to keep it. I walked in and put down almost $1,000.00 deposit. I then paid $100.00/week for several months once the deposit was up. That's way more then what the per week price is. Now by my understanding that basic set should already have been paid off. Let's break this down mathematically. Used basic Queen size bedroom set $700.00 from first customer 2 months later - No refund Almost $1,000.00 from me $100.00 / week/ month from me $1,600.00 in payments Total for bed set: $3,200.00 roughly for 1 product So Easyhome on Dundurn and Main St here in Hamilton, Ontario has collected that $3,200.00 for that 1 product. Keep in mind that it's used not brand new. I honestly thought that it was already paid off. I stared to receive harassing Facebook messages, harassing calls and voicemails, the employeees trying to send me Facebook friend requests to get into my personal friends list, pounding on my door when I'm at work and disturbing my neighbours, one of the times I saw them at my house I pulled up in my car as I was heading out and the guy was rude and tried to order me like a police officer to pull over my vehicle and he threatened to take my SUV as collateral. I own my car I bought it outright so taking my car won't be happening. I finally had enough and decided to call the head office and now waiting for the regional manager for that area whose name is "George" to call me back with some kind of response and resolution. Easyhome has made their profits and then some already off of this used basic bedroom set and I should already own it. For the retail value of this set at the used price (since it was used when I got it) and for what I have already paid and the $700.00 that they never refunded to the first person, I should already own it. They can't keep billing me like it's a brand new top of the line set because it's not. Also trying to say I owe them $900.00 in less then 3 weeks is not even possible. They are power and money hungry people who just want to scam their customers. Well I'm an educated customer and I know better and know my consumer rights. I'm not allowing them to get away with this behaviour. We need laws for these companies like they already do In Manitoba. Something seriously needs to be done!

Defected PRODUCT

I've heard about "Easy Home" from a friend, who has been dealing with the Company for quite a while, and must say extremely content with the products and services. In the beginning so was I; until I decided to get a "kitchen table" that I needed. With having this table delivered to my house I noticed marks and scrapes on top, clearly visibable. I email pics and called the manager, during our conversation I was told that he was going to purchase some kind of spray from "Canadian tire" to remove those marks. I agreed and two guys came about 1wk later to try this spray.... 😏however it didn't work!!. I contacted the Manager once agian and was told he was going to order a "table top" to replace the old and that it would take about 3wks...once agian I agreed to this. During the weeks that passed I kept contacting him asking about the table his reply was always ( once it arrives we will contact you), then sometime I called agian, I was told he was NO LONGER WORKING THERE!!!. with the new manager in I had to explain agian and what the manager promised, during the times that past my table got worst (PAINT PEELED OFF) looks so GHETTO!!! After sending pic to this now new manager, I was told to look for another table because the table I have is a DEFECT/ A RECALL ITEM!!!!, I invested time looking but I DIDNT LIKE ANYTHING!!! He offered to replace top with one from down stairs but it was chipped I REFUSED! What was the point of replacing a table which I know would be IN THE SAME CONDITION down the road! N why would I want a table that's chipped!!! I was so UPSET!!! then he told me he will speak to whom ever to see what he can do...so I ok!!. Then again I called like always...i was told HE QUIT!!! no longer working there!!. NOW ANOTHER NEW MANAGER I AGAIN HAVE TO EXPLAIN MY ISSUE..after explaining I say LISTEN I'VE BEEN PAYING FOR ALL MY PRODUCTS ON TIME MONTHLY AM PAYING FOR A DEFECTED TABLE WHICH EVENTUALLY WILL BE IN THE GARBAGE!! I WASTED SO MUCH MONEY ON AN ITEM THAT I WILL NOT HAVE AND CANNOT ENJOY!!! his suggest well u could try selling on KIJIJI!!! EXCUSE ME!!!! THIS DONE GOT ME SO IRRATED!!! I invested ALOT of money being a single woman to have a table for my family to eat at and this is how I am getting treated!! His next suggestion was ok I'll speak with head office to try and see if they can come up with a "payout solution"!! I told him I paid way too much n this is a defected product therefore I shouldn't be paying ANYMORE!! IF ANYTHING I SHOULD BE REIMBURSED FOR EVERYTHING I PUT IT!!!. That when he said he will contact me back and let me know. I didn't receive any PHONE CALLS!!. when I called to see what's going on GUESS WHAT I WAS TOLD.....HE'S NO LONGER WORKING THERE!!!!!!
I recently called the regional manager by the name "ASH"!!! he started off by asking me to go ahead and explain...as I began with I've been paying for my table for like 2 YRS...HE CUT ME OFF N STARTED YELLING AT ME WELL I DON'T KNOW WHAT U WANT FROM ME CAUSE THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO!! IT'S BEEN 2YRS!!. didn't let me explain n went off!! SO AS U COULD UNDERSTAND WHAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH I WENT OFF!! he is DISRESPECTFUL RUDE N VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! Apparently just started! He's deserve to BE FIRED!!!!


I HAVE HAD IT WITH THIS COMPANY!! I HAVE RECOMMENDED TO ALOT OF PEOPLE! BUT I WILL NEVER BECAUSE OF MY EXPERIENCE..A DAMN NIGHTMARE I'VE BEEN LIVING FOR 2YRS!! N IT'S STILL GOING!. I WOULD LIKE TO WAKE UP NOW!!! I FEEL BETRAYED DECEIVIE!! THIS IS FRAUD!!!! AM PISSED THE HELL OFF!!! I'VE BEEN SCAM!!! I REFUSE TO PAY ANOTHER NICKEL!!! I WANT ALL THE MONEY I INVESTED IN THIS TABLE RIGHT BACK INTO MY KIDS POCKETS!!! I'VE BEEN PAYING NOW FOR LIKE 2YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS ISN'T RIGHT!!! I HAVE BEEN AN EXTREMELY LOYAL CUSTOMER! WHY AM I GETTING THE RUN AROUND!!! I NEED AN EXPLANATION EASY HOME!!!

Easy home - home of passing the buck

Purchased a computer through Employee Purchases. This is where employees purchase new products and have payments deducted from paycheck. Available through Easy Home Financial and Easy Home. Received Dec. 2013. Paid in full of summer 2014. Got this message in May 2016. Was told I had a virus and that is why it came up. But This Easy home security software should never been put on my computer to start with. My tech could not repair it because of EH software. Took it in for the second time to the store as the computer could not be fixed without it having the EH software removed. Was told it would be sent out to be done right away. After a week I called for an update. I called several times with the response that "I will get the manager to call you back." Never a call back. Went into the store and was told manager out on deliveries. Still more promises of call back. Finally caught manager at store was told after being on hold for 15 minutes. He said Computer had EH software removed. But it might show up again because the computer still had the virus. (WTF??????) and it was being couriered to their store. That was Thursday June 16th. Went in on Sat. the 18th. No computer but will call me back (Even promised!! lol) Monday morning. No word. So I stopped in again on Wednesday. Nothing, no computer, no idea about it and Manager on delivery where there is no cell service to call him. Regional manager on vacation and can not call him. Can call head office but have learned through past experience that they DO NOT deal with customers issues. They pass you off to Regional Manager and he has 3 days to call you and they do not consider the day you call as day one. (Great way to do business!!!) I found out that 3 days are needed for the Regional Manager to pass the message to the store manager. Remember him the guy that doesn't return calls!!!! And so today I went in as I still have not heard anything. No one in the store knew anything. Manager was called as he was out on the road again. He was advised that I was there along with the status of a couple customers that have not been in to pay their account. So much for privacy of the customers. (really think they should invest in mystery shoppers. They will either be shocked at how their business is run or they already know and tolerate such disgusting business practices. Ethics is not a virtue there!!) I would post this complain with BBB but guess what? They are not a member!! Surprise!!! So here I am still waiting for the Manager to call Head Office and call me back on Monday. I tried to be patient but that ship has sailed. Next step: MEDIA.
