ebay lathe seller
Bought this item "7 X 10 In Precision Mini Benchtop Lathe Auto Feed Revers Chuck Guard free Fedex" from a michigantooldeals
Here is one reason to avoid eBay, shady sellers like this and the fact that you don't know where the item is coming from.
The tracking number didn't move after days. I and asked finally to cancel. He said OK as long as it hasn't shipped from the "warehouse". I ask again to cancel and hear nothing immediately a day or two, and then it showed as picked up on the tracking as of that day . He then says "it's on its way have a good day" or something. I said, no, I said cancel and you had enough time(I don't accept being lied to by someone I'm doing business with"). He said that the only way was to send it back with a label(that it would take a few days for him to send me) when it arrived or refuse it. He said that he would refund as soon as he could confirm it was refused. I refused it over the phone. The lady told me that it would be shipped back to Harbor Freight!!!
He was inept, lied to me several times in emails(um the warehouse has changed their communication methodology, etc), and that he apparently is selling Harbor Freights merchandise as though it is immediately his to sell. That's not drop shipping! If there is a reseller(you bought things from Harbor Freight and are reselling them) that's one thing. But it was coming from HF itself! No wonder he had difficulty.That is dishonest. On certain occasions I have said that I am never using eBay again. This time, it was enough. I cannot do business with any organization that permits this level of tacky, shady, morally bankrupt ways of doing business by people who apparently don't even have their own businesses!

febay fraudelent charges and illegal collections
Ebay is a total fraud and scam do not deal with them. I suggest you use amazon or another site to sell your items. PayPal is also a company of there's the to can defraud you watch out for both of these companies the federal government should look into all there complaints and do something about them. They are still charging me for items not sold, customer never paid for item . They overdrafted my bank account causing me huge problems and headaches they are not a professional company to deal with.
As for there customer service is horrible you cant even understand there agents all have strong accents. From india ,etc.
Very rude people. Do not deal with ebay Ever!!!!!

DO NOT SELL ON EBAY.
I sold an item on eBay. I shipped exactly what the buyer purchased, the exact item in my listing. Upon receiving the item, he claimed to have received something completely different. He demanded a return and refund--so he wanted to return something to me which I have never touched and never sold him!
After calling eBay twice a day for four days, after pleading with their supposed "customer service", I was informed by eBay that the item was not as described, that I had to pay for return postage, and accept a return. FOR SOMETHING I DID NOT SELL. I refused to do this, so guess what? The lying, thieving, scamming piece of garbage named

gets a full refund AND keep what I sold him. I get nothing. I might as well have had the item stolen from my house.
eBay DOES NOT PROTECT SELLERS. eBay DOES NOT LISTEN TO REASON.
eBay and PayPal enable, protect, and encourage thieves. DO NOT SELL ON EBAY.

Shocking Service
5 Days ago I registered with eBay from South Africa, but knew that my transactions would be from America and I would need the items to be sent to my Shipper in NY, so I provided their address and telephone numbers. After placing two bids and winning them and having communicated with some sellers, I suddenly receive some very rude emails from sellers stating that they wont deal with me because my account has been suspended. When I phone to find out why I am told I am a risk to the eBay community because this is not my information and they are not able to verify my identity though there is no where that they ask for information to clearly identify me personally and on their site they say that the address can be changed at any time etc ...
I answered everything else as accurately as possible and even with having had huge operational issues with my eBay account and having had to contact their customer service, their respondent was able to pick up that I was from SA and made no mention of the concerns that were two days later thrown at me as a catastrophic risk - I was practically accused of being identity fraud and heaven knows what else! I was flat out told there was no way of correcting the error or changing the details and I would never be able to transact with eBay!! How is that for discrimination!!! If you want to discredit me at least do a thorough check on me - I have no debt I no records, so how dare you make such accusations!! I live in a 3rd world country who have more advanced and accurate checks than this!!!!!

I purchased 2 items on ebay last month and paid through paypal. Item did not arrive. Then seller wanted more money for shipping, said will keep until I pay. I asked for refund instead and was offered about 30% of what I paid. I've tried contacting ebay but they are unhelpful.

There are lot of listing that eBay has for over around the globe.. they cannot check all the listing that seller have posted and if the listing was removed it either someone made a report or the team who is responsible in removing a listing saw ur "NOT ALLOWED listing. :D

I am so sick and tired of ebays stupid bullshit rules about selling nazi items on eBay.but what's still stupid is that they have nazi coins and stamps with the swastika in plain view but when a seller puts an armband or helmet with a swastika in plain view they take it off. So I am so sick and tired of ebays stupid bullshit rules they need to decide whether to let all the nazi items on eBay or just take everything with a swastika off because I am so tired of this shit

eBay restricted my account. I did everything they wanted to get it back. It is still restricted.
It's been more than a week since I tried to contact a eBay's employe. They keep their contact information (phone number, fax number, etc.) secret. There is no way a single customer like me can get help from them. Even when I write them an eMail, they reply back with a pre-writed auto-response message. What can we do?

I agree 100% ebay removed 19 of my listings stating they were misleading, when I contacted them to ask what part of my listings were misleading this is the reply I got back from them.
"Unfortunately I am not at liberty to reveal to you exactly what text is
construed as misleading as to do so could assist in the circumvention of
our policies. If we were to tell you what was misleading then you could
simply just change your wording to fit our policy" I count myself luck I even got that, because as you say they normally send auto reply or nothing at all. Plust if you kick up a fuss they suspend your account. I HATE EBAY THEY MAKE MY BLOOD BOIL!!

Our only defense against scam purchases through Ebay is the ability to post negative feedback towards the scammer so others will know to avoid them. Ebay has changed their time limits for filing negative feedback. If you haven't done it within 30 days of the purchase, you are out of luck. Scam sellers like gold3288gold (T-Motorsports) deliberately wait two to three weeks to send you the product. As in my case, the item was missing a part when it arrived so I was required to send it back for a replacement which took another 14 days to come back. Then it didn't work, so I sent it back for replacement. 14 days later it came back in the same condition so I requested my money back. They said, "Up Yours. The 30-day refund limit has passed". Then I find out I cannot leave negative feedback because Ebay takes that privilege away after 30 days. That completely sucks, especially when you have warranty issues like in my case. Such things can take months to finalize The seller can use Ebay's stupid rules against unsuspecting buyers by using delaying tactics. I shall deal with retailers before I ever purchase anything through Ebay again.

Yep, T-MOTORSPORTS (gold3288gold) treated me in a similar manner. Bought a motorcycle battery from them with an advertised one year warranty. I got about 6 starts before it died in less than 50 days! When I asked for a replacement, they told me 30 days was up and they would not exchange it or refund my $53.00...WTF????
I would not buy a glass of water from them if I was dying of thirst!
