How can I repair my ecco shoes. The soles have disintegrated.

I have a pair of Ecco suede chukka boots that I've worn maybe two dozen times. Great boot. Good looking and very comfortable. While the uppers and soles show almost no wear at all, when I went to wear them last week I was shocked to see that the soles on both boots had literally disintegrated. Both soles were cracked across the entire width of the boot and there was a large chunk missing on one of the heals. I have never in all my years owned a pair of shoes or boots that fell apart the way these have. I've contacted Ecco's Customer Service Center and am awaiting their response.
