Soles disintegrated

I have a pair of echo lace up black oxford. I really love the shoes and have had them for about 3 years. I was at my nephews wedding last week and felt something strange on the bottom of the shoe , I looked and the whole heel was disintegrate on both shoes.
Never had that happen even when I used to wear cheap shoes years ago. Unacceptable! Will never buy or recommend Ecco shoes
Again.
I may put a post on YouTube to,show how bad these are
