I called guest reservations to book a wheelchair accessible room for 2 occupants. The agent found me the Econo Lodge in Ottawa 475 Rideau st and mistakenly booked only one bed. When I received e- mail confirmation I saw the mistake and called the hotel front desk. Again I confirmed wheelchair accessibility for 2 occupants. Again I was confirmed wheelchair accessibility. When we got there it was not wheelchair accessible. They also refused to refund me my room. I have also not been able to get in contact with anyone at Guest Reservations. Number is 1- 800- 327-1200. They made the initial mistake. My 14 year old wheelchair bound son and I were left without accomodations after a 6hr drive. Unacceptable.
