On the 25th of November 2018, I went into Edgars Gateway and purchased for R879,85. I paid with my debit card, and received an sms with confirmation. They could not find my payment and asked me to pay again, which I didn't as the payment had gone through from my account already. they refused to hand me the goods saying that they had not received the payment. After standing in the shop for over 45 minutes, I had to leave as they refused to give me the clothing and wanted me to make payment again.
To date Edcon is still holding my funds and have not had the decency to call me to sort this out. It has been over 2 weeks since they took the payment and this was no fault of mine. They did tell me that this also happened to another person and the money was reversed.
My funds that was supposed to be in my account is standing in their account and they have not called me once to sort this out. In their email to me they say sorry and that they will sort my query when this was their fault. How many other customers are they doing this to. And if the customers do not call them back they keep the money. This is called theft.

Please can someone please assist as they still have my money.
