lack of response/ bad customers serv
Hi I have emailed several times and had no reply.
I originally booked flights for Feb for 3 passengers from Birmingham to Dublin. One of the passengers is not able to travel so within a couple of weeks of booking I called edreams. They advised to call ryanair/aer lingua and then email edreams for a refund. I did this and then ha e emailed edreams several times with NO REPLY. I think this is terrible customer serv. I work in customer service myself and have found edreams the hardest company ever to deal with as they have a total lack of professionalism. I am quite angry with the way I have been treated and in future will go directly to the sites and not through edreams. I have sent in the cancellation proof as required and all for nothing as I do not even get a response. This has been going on now since September. I think this is appalling.

Refund of Airfare from flight cancellation by Air France
On Sunday September 28 2014,
Air France cancelled of our flight from Birmingham to Paris due to Pilots strike, booking reservation number: Y3TU95. I followed this up on the 14.10.14 with a male operator on the number, 1300 330 719 obtained from website: http://au.edreams.com/flights/, no name volunteered by operator who informed me that we were entitled to refund of our fare and that the refund was already in the process of being paid back to our credit card, confirmation email to be following forthwith.....it never came! As a result, I contacted this number aagain on the 14.10.14 and spoke to an operator named Esther. She informed me that there was no record of any claim for refund lodged on our behalf by any operator in the Edreams organisation. Additionally, she informed me that the cut-off date for lodging refund claims had passed, making us thus ineligible for any refund. She informed me that she would also send me a confirmation email with the outcome of this "late" application for refund. This has not come either. We are starting to think that Edreams is deliberately making it hard for us to retrieve our money and indeed, hoping we just give up. This cannot be further from reality as we are also now out of pocket for extra fares on Channel ferry, accommodation in Calais, lost accommodation fee in Rouen, international phone calls, mobile phone calls and, an extra days car hire, expenses that I also require to retrieve!
As you can probably understand, our sense of outrage has caused a level of unwanted anguish as a result, enforcing us to have to look at further steps to recover our money.
Can you advise us of any official agency that may help us in our unwanted quest of retrieving our money, your advice will be most welcomed.
