Fraud - daylight robbery

Hi,

You think people are stupid?

On the page where you select your flights, it will say FINAL PRICE (I love how it even is in capitals to make you think its proper) and give you some irrelevant number. Go into 'breakdown of costs' and it will say edreams service charge £23.81, then underneath it says edreams reduction -£23.81. So far, you think you're getting a good deal, so well done marketing.

Go to pay, and suddenly the edreams reduction is missing from the invoice and you are paying £23.81 extra. And for what? I cant see because that useful little 'breakdown of costs' button has disappeared! Funny that.

Come clean, grow a pair, and say there is a fee for using your service. I would then happily pay it, only due to the fact that you have been honest about the charge.

I am interested to see what your response is.

cancelled confirmed flight

I booked two flights from Cancun to Havana with edreams. I received an email from them confirming the booking and in the mail they used the term your flights are guaranteed. As these were etickets I didnt sign into the booking again and didnt receive any further correspondence from edreams.
The flights were with Cubana airlines who do not as far as i could tell offer online checkin, and so I duely travelled from Merida to Cancun on the day of the booking. On arrival at the airport I was informed my flights had all been cancelled by the airline as they had not received any confirmation or money from edreams. The flight was full and I was not able to travel. I rebooked for the next day having to pay cash but could not get a return flight from Havana to Mexico City until 3 days later than the one I was originally booked on with the edreams booking, this meant I missed my international flights back to London.
So i had to pay to rebook that flight also and all the extra expense of hotels etc. I contacted edreams and they confirmed my booking was cancelled by Cubana because they did not have availablity and also confirm that they did not inform me of this as it wasn't their policy to inform customers if they cancelled within 24hours of the booking. Where does this leave me as edreams say we refunded your money so we take no responsibility. Although the expenses i incurred are considerable.
