You'd think, after a lifetime of pronouncing the name Hickenlooper that Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper would be the sort of person who took extra care with his speech. But the governor proved to be a big-time blunderer while speaking to about 40 students at a Denver elementary school. Attempting a 'funny' introduction of his lieutenant governor, Joe Garcia, the governor instead issued a serious Hickenlooper blooper: "Now I get to introduce that rising sex star... symbol. I mean, symbol - not star, " Hickenlooper said, the Denver Post reports. He shouldn't feel bad about an honest slip of the tongue, but why would Hickenlooper joke about sex symbols in front of kids in the first place?
