I replaced numerous parts on Dual wall oven purchased Feb 2009. Most expensive part was display and keypad panel which was at the time cost over $1100.00 plus install labor. Its is cracking in an Eggcrate pattern. Electrolux were good enough to supply this part as the total cost of all the parts to be replaced were close to 75% of the total cost of the oven.
Now after installing the display/keypad in mid July 2013 the part had failed again. I called Electrolux to see if they would swap the display out but was told the part was no longer on warranty - nothing they can or will do.
Really not happy as I feel Electrolux needs to supply parts that are better than one year performance. Surely there are all sorts of the displays being replaces and the company they get the part form should be stepping in to assist.
