I am dealing with realizing I had fraudulent charges on my tax advance through HR Block Emerald card. I contacted customer service and the first woman was nice, helpful, and admitted that charges had originated from somewhere else, Mexico. She said she was directing me to the fraud department that would be able to assist me. Then, once again explaining and verifying my personal information again, I began to question why I'm having to provide all the exact info someone needs to steal your identity . The first woman asked for my last 4 of social, everyone after my full social! How to spell my first and last name, my zip, dob, etc. I told the woman I was uncomfortable bc obviously I was already dealing with that and from a card I barely had my funds on not long before being hacked. The person hung up on me! Then I had to call back and once again explain, verify and put on hold to wait for fraud department assistance again. Then, I am right back explaining, verifying, explaining I'm not feeling comfortable giving my whole social for the 4 time and this woman hung up on me as well. I'm so frustrated! I had a horrible experience with my tax service, then I get a card that I am stolen from by hackers/frauds , and then I have to wait and try to see what HR block says in the morning, I'm going to call Meta bank, Irs, whatever it takes. I do not want my main full tax amount to go to that emerald card and me lose any. I'm a single mom, of 3 children, 20, 8, and 7. I'm a survivor of child molestation, a recovered addict due to the trauma, and had my first good job for 5 years straight to have COVID hit. I lost my job, have been in a financial, emotional, and physical bind since( especially with this after effects of Covid, health decline, hair 3/4 lost to just falling out, my mind and sharpness just not there) and now this. I'm a nobody, who cannot afford to get a lawyer to fight be ripped off by a big company, HRBlock, EMERALD, tied to Meta bank, which is tied to the US Government Stimulus(so my govt). I'm beyond jaded and fed up with our world today! People are horrible, have no decency left, and I may not get to see it, but I know karma and justice will come around! I just hope their ways do not destroy us all! I may be broke, homeless, and now carless if I cannot pay my loan off because they steal my tax refund I'm counting on, well have it! I will not let you steal my soul, I will not let you defeat me, I have The Ultimate Power on my side and he will take care of me and my children. I understand why people just give up, flip and join the wrong side. Why not, it seems better, everyone else is doing it and out for self, it doesn't matter anyway, only the here and now matter and the rest is a lie, control, manipulation. Well, I know and feel for me and mine, its the Realest, and the Only Part that counts, and I Believe! So the War of Goodvs.Evil rolls on! Eternally. Within each of us, in every town, state, and country. I pray for justice and always am rooting for the Underdogs!!! Screw you Emerald, HR Block, and especially our own leaders/people who can sleep at night knowing how they are doing us all!!
