I, Squadron Leader TMCK Perera holding Sri Lankan passport No N2021114 booked emirates airlines (EK) - 349 by electronic ticket no 1761691370635 (Galileo Reservation Number T8NLZ8) from changi int airport (SIN) singapore to Bandaranayake Int: Airport(CMB) Colombo on 24 April 2016. Departture time was 00.50 hrs on aprl 24,2016. But I reached to airport at 1140pm and were in queue for checking around 1155. I were in queue more than 15 minuths.I reached to checking counter around 1215 and the duty stewards of the group checking counter guide me to another counter and there then duty stewards denied to checkin although there were 35 minuths remains to the aircraft take off.The lady of the counter told that they closed the counter at 12. Further it was impossible to reach counter as I was in queue.
Further, They are supposed to make anannoucement about the counter will be closed by 0000hrs and should ask if any passenger is leaving to take the flight of EK349.
Further non of annoucement were made during I was in queue.further it is shame mentioned that they kept me infront of counter more than 30 minuths.
I am very disopppointed not only becouse of the flight I did not get..it becouse of the attitude and customs care of the duty lady of emirates on that time. It is effect the name of emirates as I experance emirates is the best and I choosen to fly because of that.The way of responce towards the customer of the stewards who were on duty (counter) lady is very pathatic and experience this type of such a thing in life time.
Therefore, it is requested to made reasonable action for me to recover or 're-arrenge my flight as soon as possible.
